The problem
A 1:6 slope, a strict height restriction, and a client who did not want to see a single neighbouring roof from any window.
Our approach
Rather than cut a platform, we stepped nine parallel earth walls into the contour. Each interval becomes a room; each roof becomes the terrace of the room above. Nothing on the site was levelled.
