The problem
A tight urban plot with neighbours on three sides and a brief for five bedrooms, an office and a place to hold two hundred people at a wedding.
Our approach
We removed a third of the buildable area and made it a courtyard. Every room now has two external faces, cross ventilation works without fans until April, and the wedding fits.
